More LG watch phones to launch next year?

And you thought the LG watch phone was a flash in the pan novelty gadget, never to be seen on the wrist of anyone with a slight degree of taste. Turns out LG was so chuffed with the success of their first model, the GD910, they’re already working on more watch phones.

According to Fonehome, LG’s Sales and Marketing Director John Barton let it slip that more models will be released to "complement the existing GD910," although wouldn’t budge on any more details apparently. It could be a slight change to the aesthetics, or a completely new model, perhaps with a little slide-out keyboard for easier texting.

The GD910 was first unveiled at CES 2009, and went on sale in August, exclusive to the mobile network Orange.
